Who & why?
Hi, I'm Freddie! I'm the creator of DesignDesign.info.
My motivation to explore future-friendly design methods was deeply personal. There's something about practising design in a business-as-usual way that leaves me unfulfilled. As I realised that design held the power to shape not just products, but also our future, our planet, and our societies, I believe the design community has been facing a moment that demanded a transformation in our practices. So I started looking for alternative methods that'd allow me to continue doing what I love, while prioritising ethics, sustainability, and holistic thinking to better align with the needs of a changing world in crisis.
I hope to empower designers with the tools and mindsets to create responsible designs, ones that consider the futures we want to be. And I invite you to reimagine our creative processes, share your knowledge, and spark conversations with other creators around you.

Definitions of Approach, Method, and Technique
Approaches
A broad, overarching strategy or philosophy that guides the overall direction of an activity or process. It represents a general perspective or mindset that informs how you approach a particular problem, task, or subject matter.
Methods
A more specific and structured way of practising design. Methods are practical and provide a clear set of instructions on how to perform tasks or achieve objectives within a broader approach.
Techniques
The most specific and detailed aspect of a method. Techniques are the actual tools, procedures, or practices used to carry out a particular step within a method.
Approaches
